Since I was a child the artist in me has been expressing itself through many of the creative mediums.

Raised by an artistic father and a seamstress mother, I loved to sketch and sew. After majoring in Art in college, I focused my love of fabrics, color and design into a career as an Interior Designer.

Recently, my playful inner child re-awakened and lit a fire in me to resurrect the whimsical characters that  I used to draw on custom greeting cards in my college days. 

Almost effortlessly I started to sketch a whole new cast of characters.  A plot developed and a Children's Picture Book materialized. I am now submitting this book for publication A second book in this series is under development.

I am a member of the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). I am also the Director of the Image and Arts Council of Troy (I/ACT). Through this association, I have been doing murals in Troy Elementary Schools with other Troy Michigan artists.
